The biggest transfer deals that could happen this summer

Even though the football season is coming to an end, it’s inevitable that we will be blessed with a busy summer transfer window to keep our interest high in the beautiful game. But which superstar names look likely to be moving for mega-bucks? And what deals could be on the verge of breaking down?We take a look at all the latest top transfer news involving Europe’s biggest players

Antoine Griezmann

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United were tracking Antoine Griezmann but have now seemed to have made a U-turn by stating their desire to sign an out-and-out striker. This may have ruled the 26-year-old out of their plans after his 83 Atleti goals have come from a variety of positions across the front-line. The transfer looks even more unlikely now after the club had an appeal against their transfer ban rejected by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

David de Gea
It seems that every summer is full of speculation about Manchester United’s David de Gea moving to Real Madrid, and it has been reported by Sky Sports that the Red Devils have rejected a £60 million bid for the Spaniard. The world-class keeper was close to leaving Old Trafford last year, but a problem with the paperwork stopped him going to the Bernabeu. De Gea has made 45 appearances this season but United manager Jose Mourinho is thought to be interested on swapping him for Madrid defender Raphael Varane
.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
The striker is wanted by Paris Saint-Germain but Borussia Dortmund have said they’ve received no bids for Aubameyang. Sky Sports have reported that the 27-year-old is thought to be keen on a move to the French capital but it may take a bid of around £60 million for the German club to allow the transfer to go ahead. Aubameyang has scored 40 goals for Dortmund this season and helped the club win the DFB-Pokal cup last week.

Alexis Sanchez
The Daily Mail have reported that Bayern Munich are close to landing Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez. However, the Chilean is thought to be keen on staying in England and could force a move to either Chelsea or Manchester City. The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is defiant that Sanchez is staying in North London but it seems the player is keeping his options open. The 28-year-old has easily been Arsenal’s best player this year and would be massive blow to the club if he were to leave.

Kylian Mbappe
Easily Europe’s hottest young property, AS Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe has scored 26 goals this season. Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid are all in a £100 million battle to sign the 18-year-old according to The Sun. Apparently the striker is a huge fan of Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane which makes them favourites for the player’s signature. Mbappe has been a sensation since finding his way in Monaco’s first team and helped them reach the Champions League semi-finals this season.
